Folks, welcome to Wishlist After Dark! This is the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo's game console, and it's the perfect gift for kids, teens and grown-ups who love video games! I've got our ray of sunshine, Sunny, and our review reader, Penny Pickwell, right here with me! Hi, everyone! Marty, I can already hear the wrapping paper ripping! Hello, you. I read the reviews and yep, there's a catch. Go on, sell it.

Oh, I will! Three modes, folks! On the T V, on a tabletop or in your hands! Oh, picture it! Everybody's gathered at the T V, and then it's off in someone's hands! But wait, there's more! Sunny, these controllers! They snap on with magnets, and a button on the back pops them right off. And Nintendo says they work like a mouse too! Hold on. A mouse? Seriously? On a table or your lap, Penny, in compatible games.

Oh, I want one! Me too! So what's actually in the box? The console, both controllers, the grip, the dock, two straps and the cables. That's multiplayer right out of the box! Games are sold separately, Sunny, so wrap one too. And Nintendo Life readers gripe about battery. Nintendo estimates two to six and a half hours. Wait, really? And storage? 256 gigabytes, and Nintendo Life's review says it fills up fast.

Adding more takes a special card, microSD Express. I couldn't confirm Amazon's stars, so check recent reviews. But Penny, owners still love it, right? Nine out of ten was the top answer in Nintendo Life's reader poll, though some say the games underwhelmed. Together, we land at eight point three out of ten, second on our games board. If you love video games, buy it. And there's who it's for, folks!

The link is on our site and in the description. See you next time!
