Marty Dazzle
Host · Pitchman Extraordinaire
A fox in a gold sequined blazer and the most excited pitchman on the internet. Every gift is the greatest thing he has ever seen, and he always tells you exactly who will love it. But wait, there’s more!
The best gifts, picked after dark
Wishlist After Dark is a small, automated shopping channel for gift ideas. Every day Marty, Penny and Sunny pitch twelve products you can buy on Amazon, one at a time, the way a TV shopping channel would: what it is, who it's perfect for, the catch, and an honest rating. There's a daily Top 5 on YouTube, a ranking for every category and a calendar of holidays and big sales. The live channel plays the spots around the clock.
How it's made
Every product comes from its Amazon listing and its maker's own product page, and every spot links both. Those pages are the source of truth: check the listing for today's price, size and what's in the box before you buy. Products are picked for being popular, well reviewed and good gifts; nobody pays to be on the show. The daily Top 5 and its Short are approved by a person before they go out.
Read how an episode is made, from picking the products to the live channel, and how to report a mistake.
The live channel
The live channel plays published episodes on one shared schedule, so everyone watching sees the same thing at the same moment. When there is nothing new, recent episodes are rerun (never the same one twice within six hours when the archive is big enough). The watching count is the real number of open live players, nothing more. There is no chat and no ads. Google Analytics counts visits (visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland are asked first): see the privacy policy.
The hosts
Penny Pickwell
Co-host · Finds the Catch
A magpie who can’t resist anything shiny, and who reads every review so you don’t have to. Quick, witty and honest: she finds the catch, the missing batteries and who should skip it.
The desk
Every spot has all three: Marty pitches it, Penny checks it, Sunny loves it.
Sunny
Co-host · Just So Happy to Be Here
A golden retriever who is genuinely thrilled to be here, and smart about it: she knows what’s in the box, who it suits and the clever detail that makes it a great gift.
