Welcome to Wishlist After Dark! I'm Penny, here with our sequined showstopper Marty Dazzle and our resident ray of sunshine, Sunny. Marty, what've you got for us? Folks, flowers that never wilt! It's the lego Icons Wildflower Bouquet, the perfect gift for the grown-up who loves flowers. Or loves lego! Here's lego's pitch, folks. You build it, you display it at home, and it never needs watering! Thanks, Marty, I'm so happy to be here!
It's 939 pieces, so the gift is the build first, then the bouquet. But wait, there's more! Eight species of wildflowers, folks. Lupins, lavender, larkspur, daisies! Ooh, and here's the clever bit, Marty. There are 16 adjustable stems, so you arrange your own display. Hang on. One box, two bouquets? Yep! The reviewer at Brickset needed two vases to show it off. Picture unwrapping it and already planning where each vase goes!
Okay, Marty, fine print. The vase is not included, buyers mention it, so plan to pair it with one. No vase? Penny, you wound me! You'll live. It's designed for adults 18 and up, and Brickset readers who own the first flower set say it collects dust. Cleaning's fiddly too, since the flowers come apart. Penny, is it nicer than that first lego Flower Bouquet? Plenty of Brickset readers say much nicer.
Their reviewer calls the old one duller, and the new one has 180 more pieces. Brighter and bigger? Folks, my heart! I'm going eight point eight out of ten, because it's a bouquet that never wilts. I'm at eight point two! Those bright colors are a joy, but you'll need a vase or two. I'm the strict one at seven point six, for the missing vase and the dusting. That's an After Dark Score of eight point two out of ten, the first set on our home board.
Buy it for the flower lover who likes to build. Flowers forever, folks! The link's on our site and in the description. See you next time!
