Folks, what if Catan fit in your glovebox? Welcome to Wishlist After Dark, it's Catan On The Road, the card game take on Catan, perfect for families and game-night fans who travel. With me, our joy expert Sunny, and Penny Pickwell, our review reader! Hi everyone! Marty, I already love this little box. Hello. I've read the reviews, so nobody panic. Okay, here's the deal. It's a travel-friendly take on the classic Catan board game, made as a card game.

Sunny, what's the big idea? You still trade and build! The maker says it packs the Catan trading-and-building idea into a game you can take along. Hold on, the whole trading and building thing? Just in cards? Just in cards. Picture a road trip where everybody's haggling over brick. But wait, there's more! It's a stocking-stuffer-size gift. Sunny, take it from here. Oh, I can see it! A little box in the stocking, and the whole family's playing before breakfast.

And look at this, folks. It got picked for Amazon's 2026 Toys We Love list! Okay, Marty, fine print time. It's the card-game version, not the full board game. Wait, no board at all? No board. Buyers say check the player count and age on the box before you buy for a big family group. But Penny, for a small crew on the go, isn't that kind of perfect? Fair point, Sunny. For travelers? It's a good find.

Okay, Penny, hit us with the scores! Marty says eight point seven, Sunny eight point two, me seven point five. After Dark Score, eight point one out of ten, below the top eight on our toys board. Buy it if your family plays on the go. The link's on our site and in the description. See you next time, folks!
